Depending on the origin and type of product you are selling, the location of your company, the countries where you want to ship, the model you wish to use: B2B, B2C or both, PFSweb will advise you with the right financial model.

Each individual solution needs a thorough understanding of the commercial and legal issues so that PFSweb's team can craft a solution that is commercially viable for both PFSweb and its Client.

 

Consignment Model

In this model, PFSweb client consigns inventory to our warehouse. PFSweb is a contracted outsourced supplier of warehouse services.

 

Flash Model

In this model, the products are sold by the client to the customer, and PFSweb takes ownership of the inventory once the transaction is completed. The client does not need to register VAT in Belgium or any other country. Depending on where the goods are coming from the transaction is considered as either local, intra EU delivery or export with the related impact in the matter of VAT & duties. PFSweb invoices customers under its VAT registration number in the related country and takes care of all VAT administration, payment and accompanying intrastat EU reporting.

 

Buy-Sell Model

In this model, the products are sold by client to PFSweb who takes the ownership of the inventory and store them in its warehouse. Client does not need to register to VAT neither in Belgium nor in any other countries. Depending on where the goods are coming from, transaction is considered either as a local one or an Intra EU delivery or an export with the related impact in matter of VAT & duties. PFSweb invoices customers under its VAT registration number in the related country and takes care of all VAT administration, payment and related intrastat EU reporting.
