Inventory Management

As in all of its facilities, PFSweb Europe's operations utilize a layered cycle count process whereby the PFSweb warehouse management system directs the distribution centre staff to complete daily item and bin location counts based upon transactional history, being certain that each SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is completely cycle counted at least once per quarter. This layered cycle counting process allows for a higher degree of control over locations and items that have a faster turnover. For example, items that turn quickly will be cycle counted multiple times per quarter.

We perform periodic manually initiated inventory counts to ensure 100% of the stock is accounted for at any point in time. A floor denial will generate an immediate count.

PFSweb performs at least one full physical inventory annually for each client to support audit requirements as well as provide an additional measure of inventory control for the PFSweb operation.

We calculate shipping accuracy weekly and report this figure to our clients monthly. Our internal measure is based on our number of errors (incorrect items or quantities) at the order line level. Our recent measurements show that we ship greater than 99.9% of orders accurately.

We also provide multiple quality checks and audit & warranty support procedures by tracking and tracing serial numbers, vendor lots, expiration dates, etc.
