We utilise a highly customised and internally supported WMS based on the JD Edwards Distribution System. This robust, very flexible system provides us the ability to accommodate an extremely wide variety of products, applications, and clients. The PFSweb WMS is a custom application that leverages the JD Edwards 7.3 data structures and integration to order management and accounting systems. Our WMS is a high-quality, high-efficiency, high-volume system that can interface with any client, supplier, customer, or carrier's system.

This real-time system has no limitations as to number of SKUs, number of logical warehouses, functionality requirements, and number of clients. Through this system we provide a wide range of value-add services including returns management and dispositioning, carrier integration, freight/delivery calculations, bill of material processing; kitting, assembly, and bundling; literature/marketing insertions; customized packaging; custom packing lists; special labeling; poly bagging; returns re-work/reboxing, etc. In addition, we have extension carton selection, product DIMS, and pick-to-carton capabilities that greatly benefit each client's fulfilment solution.

Our processes are facilitated by a single database, updated real-time and used by every business function. Orders entered by Customer Care Representatives and those entered by customers on client websites are immediately available for picking by distribution centre associates, since our WMS is fully integrated for each of our facilities. Likewise, shipment status is updated and immediately available for customer service inquiries as soon as the completed order is placed on the carrier's trailer.
